I’m literally counting down the days until I depart! This year I wanted to focus on buying items that I could use and wear for a long time not just for tropical retreats.

I literally swooped up these items from Zara after a long and fulfilling day of work. Usually I make unlawful and unjustifiable decisions and come home with a bunch of rubble when shopping after work but I felt that this trip was a success and I have a lot of functional items.

My favourite of them all are the tribal ankle lace sandals. My aren’t they pretty!? They’re made out of such lovely woven material and I love the lace up detail. From a profile angle they look like simple black lace ups but its from the side that you see their real character.
