As soon as I saw this dress on ASOS I was sure that the plans that I would have for it would be somewhat inspirational. Firstly, the dress was all too similar to the works of Nicholas Ghesquiere’s Balenciaga days which is everything that I need in my life at all times.

The dropped shoulders and burnt orange sateen are just absolutely everything! I decided that I was either going to tuck it into trousers or cut it and make it a cropped top so I wouldn’t have an embarrasing and questionable buldge in between my legs.

The only reason why I believe that it’s worth cutting is because I’m not sure I could or would ever wear it as a dress and I have complete cropped-top tunnel vission whenever I try to conjure outfits around this piece.

I’m still undecided, although, I do wish these trousers were high wasited!
