I’ve noticed that my style has changed drastically within the last few months. I realised this when I said to my friend that “I have no time for theatricals” (in regards to dressing up) which is so unlike this Melissa that I used to be. My friends always laugh at me when I say I enjoy making minimalism glamorous but I’m being so far from pretentious when I say this.

As time goes by and my values and preferences shift, it has such a large impact on my clothing and I have noticed it so much. There was a time that I was obsessed with block colours and patented accessories and now neutrals and grey hues are my best friends.

I wore this outfit whilst lunching at Jackson and rye with friends which is a restaurant that I absolutely recommend to everyone! Great food and even better service!
