I find it funny when people assume some things about me. My good friend Fisayo says she still finds it so hard to comprehend when she sees me wearing trainers. It always makes me laugh every time. Truth be told, I don’t feel as comfortable and gracious in heels as everyone thinks. I have ‘powerful legs’ as my mum calls them so I literally stomp my way around the world and try to look normal whilst doing it.
I actually feel more comfortable in flats than I do in heels but I just feel as though a great pair of heels really do change the dynamic of any outfit. High heels create such an elegant curve of the foot and even if you can walk in them, just know you look fly as hell standing still and pretending! I do have a few pairs of trainers (but I prefer Uggs as London is WAY too cold) but they’re not stylish enough for the outfits I like to wear. So when I laid my eyes on these croc print air forces I knew I had to have them.
I initially saw them on someones instagram and started searching everywhere until I found them at &OtherStories (damn that shop is so cool!). When I put them on so many outfits came to mind so I bought them before anyone else spotted their potential!
