WOW. The victory Beckham show was right up my street. I really do enjoy Victoria Beckham’s designs because I think the garments really do incapsulate the woman that I would one day like to be. I love how they styled the graphic lazer cut shirts with flippy skirts to give the right balance of creativity, functionalism and femininity. Every single look I saw on that catwalk was wearable to me and I really do think that designers should start to consciously intertwine the ideas of wearability and creativity when they design their pieces. After all they do need to be realistic as real everyday people will be wearing them. I think Victoria Beckham has come so far from what she was previously stigmatised as but she’s broken through and has jumped over all the stereotype hurdles. I am proud of her if I must say. Well done Victoria.
