I actually got an invitation to attend the Maria Grachvogel show at the BFC show space at sommerset house. I sat second row which was good because I misplaced my glasses somewhere on the first day of fashion week. I’m sure they’ll show up after I have a quick look for them.

I really enjoyed the show. The artistic prints that featured on the airy dresses created a great balance between style and comfortability. The collection displayed a series of wide legged floor length jumpsuits (that with a quick glance could be mistaken for dresses) which created the most beautiful silhouettes. There were also a series of more casual floaty dresses as well as some more formal garments.

The feminine cloudy nudes that sistered swirled inky water colours really joined forces to create a beautiful collection that really represented the new age stylish woman. The collection, as a whole, made me think of a luxurious woman upper class sashaying around the most beautiful yacht somewhere entertaining her high maintenance friends. I throughly enjoy it when a collection tells a story and allows your mind to wonder off and create a character that collection may or may not be orientated around.

I like that the invitation was the same water colour style print as most of the collection which left most of us guessing. Watch the short video that I posted on instagram below.
