Interior decor has always been a passion of mine. Generally, in whatever regard, if something is well put together I will like it. This is probably the reasoning behind my love for take food pictures! I love absolutely everything about putting a room together. Giving it character and life. It’s great to walk into peoples home and see their personalities splashed all over the room. Interior decor/design is definitely something that I would love to pursue as I believe that I’m skilled at it, and with the right direction, education and experience I really think that one day, I will flourish in it!

You may think I’m being a bit modest but I personally believe that if you know you’re good at something, you shouldn’t down play it to make others feel comfortable (just saying). My first project is my family home in London which is a 3 bedroom house with a modest sized kitchen a bathroom and a toilet. I no less than snatched the project manager and head interior designer hat (practically just bossing the contractors about) and have taken full charge of proceedings. Nothing happens without my OK.

So far, all that is completed is the kitchen (which is beautiful) and the oak flooring so now, all my efforts are being pushed into the living room. I want our living room to be a classy and panache space where we can invite friends to dine and relax in. I’m very obsessed with luxe design and furniture and anything that looks like it belongs in a five star hotel. I’m sticking to dark tones such a gunmetal greys, chrome and cloudy metallics but definitely won’t be afraid to mix metals and textures. Above are some inspirational images that I’ve been referring to when completing my home’s floor plan. I always keep them in mind when sourcing products as well.

I hope you guys will really enjoy this interior journey that I’m embarking on. I know I have been fashion focused for a long time but I really want to share all parts of my personality and passions as well as the things that I like with you. I love outfits and getting dressed up but if I’m honest, my heart isn’t fully committed to just that.
