So the Fendi shows was a few days ago and its taken me a while to retrieve the post from my drafts and actually upload it to the blog (for more reasons than one).

Seeing the raven haired models strut down the runway wearing a decadent array of gradient salmon colours (the invitation gave an easy clue that the runway collection would be orientated around this theme) and similar navy gradients was definitely interesting. I really didn’t know what to expect from Fendi but indeed, I was pleasantly surprised. I felt that the light layering of organza on the dresses gave the shift dress more character taking them from simple to captivating.

The structured jackets and graphic mosaic cut pencil skirts clearly illustrated that the Fendi woman is one of high status and bold character but the bright colours gave a youthful feel to the collection which made it more fun and modern. All in all it represented a great brand and even greater body of work.

Well done!
