When I saw the ‘ Wild thing’ Aquazzuras I knew I had to have them. One small problem though – they were sold out WORLDWIDE and I had just missed my size on Net-A-Porter by fault of blinking too slowly.

 Usually, I’m very savvy when it comes to personally shopping (I know all the tips and tricks) but at this time I seriously could not be bothered to put all my energy into finding the sandals. I lazily headed over to Ebay to see that a once priced £500 pair of shoes was being resold at £900-£1025.

I have never laughed so hard. I get it, we all need to pay our light bill but come on son, that is some triffling behaviour! £1025 is someone’s monthly wages!! Another thing that made my defeat much less bearable were all the tumblr-esque pictures of all these swedish looking girls with their toes surrounded by this pom pom footwear that I was responsibly trying to avoid.

Whenever I see something that I cannot have it only makes me want it that little bit more. There had to be around it and oh boy did I find that way!
