As it once was said in my all time favourite show, The Hills, “Paris is always a good idea” which is undeniably true. I used to hate London because of its muggy climate but in terms of travelling, it’s based in the most perfect geographic location that is pretty much accessible to everywhere so for that, London is not all bad.

I went to Paris for my 24th birthday in Feburary (which seems like moons away now) and I choose Paris simply because it’s a stone throw away from London and I was so over the cliché ‘birthday dinner’ thing. I ate a Ralphs after a long day of touring the city with my best friend.

Ralphs is such a sophisticated resturant burrowed in between the decadent Ralph Lauren Clothing stores in Boulevard St Germaine, Paris.

It’s warm and welcoming dim lighting as well as its smooth ambience made it extremely easy to enjoy. The menu wasn’t very daring – neither very french (my opinion) but, all the while it did boast some mouth watering dishes.

I decided to go for the burger was wasn’t dissapointing due to it’s mammouth size. It was huge and fulfilling and the chips were cooked to perfection.

The staff could have been more attentive but I think the language barrier was the only thing barricading that from happening.

If you’re ever in Paris, Ralph’s is one to visit and when you leave the resturant, you’ll be greated by the shops of some of the most highly coveted deisgners in Europe.

(Please note that the pictures of the golden gates are not in the same Location as Ralphs. Those pictures were taken in the Versailles grounds)
