Hey guys! I’m here again with a beauty post. I recently purchased this YSL ‘Le Teint Touche Éclat’ foundation. Prior to purchasing it in John lewis I was using a tester of this exact foundation for around two weeks. When I first used it I really liked it. I’ve been blessed with really good skin so I don’t necessarily need a foundation with high coverage. Any dark marks that I have, I cover with my Mary Kay concealer (I will do a post on my full base soon) so the foundation is really just an overlay.

The foundation is extremely moist and dewy and I feel like it leaves me with a lovely glow and I think it has the best and most natural match to my skin colour thus far. I apply the foundation with my real techniques beauty blender. I give this foundation a 4/5 and would recommend it for those who prefer a medium coverage.

I also have a foundation that is practically identical gives the same pay off as the YSL. I bought this  Maybelline foundation at superdrug for around £9-£11. I think this is a great product and its a great price. I’ve bought and used this foundation a total of 3 times and its been really good to me. The only thing that differs between the two products is that the YSL is more ‘wet’ which gives off a more dewy and moist feel.

I hope this post was helpful and I will be publishing a post very soon about my total ‘base’.
