Hey guys! Aren’t we excited that I’ve posted virtually everyday this week? Even if you may not be proud I’m proud! HA! I wanted to do a quick post on my bronzers because someone asked. I like it when you guys give me suggestions as it makes it easier for me to schedule and plan my posts annnnddddd that way I know that exactly was you’d like to see! Feel free to email me on info@melissaswardrobe.com.

I use bronzers every single day because I think it helps to give a great balance to the base of your face. I also don’t like my face to be all one colour/tone so bronzers are a great way with helping to eliminate that.

Im going to start with MAC’s gold deposit which is the golden-marbley looking one on the left hand side. This product is a highlighter with a bronze effect. It is not a bronzer but, it is a great addition to the bronzing family. It looks amazing when gently (great emphasis on gently) applied above the cheek bones to give a radiant effect. It’s wonderful for the summer time and you can buy it (here).

Slightly above that you can see the Diego Dalla Palma special tanning cake in colour terra abbronzante 93 (the white compact). This is my all time favourite bronzing powder. It complements my skin because its close to my skin colour meaning that it doesn’t give off a reddish finish. It’s a pretty random brand that I picked up when browsing around in M&S but I’m so happy that I found it. It was quite pricey (when I bought it it was £27) but its the best money I’ve spent in a long while. Buy it (here). You NEED this in your make up bag.

On the right of that is MAC’s bronzing powder in ‘Bronze’. I use this as a pressed powder because it is the exact same colour as my skin and I love the finish. You really couldn’t use this a a bronzer if you’re my colour of any darker but if you’re fairer skinned the it would be a great product to purchase. Buy it (here).

Last but not least we have the Revlon photo ready skin lights liquid bronzer. This bronzer can be mixed into liquid foundation or applied as a highlighter above foundation. It is amazing when mixed into foundation because it gives off a healthy glow without too much effort. It’s a great product but I only use it when going out or doing blog posts because it can sometimes be a bit much depending on how it is applied and how much is use (I’m so heavy handed I always use too much). All in all, a great product. Buy it (here) I have the darkest colour but here are lighter colours (here)(here)(here)(here) and (here). Also, this is a great foundation to use in cohesion with it. They work so well together. (here)

My favourite brush to use when applying bronzers is the Real Techniques blusher brush. Even though it’s meant for blushers, it’s pretty multifunctional. It’s great for bronzers because its poofy, big and very fluffy so it ensures that you get an even coverage. You could even go as far to use it to apply your powder. Real technique brushes are the best on the high street and I suggest you all invest. Find the real techniques blusher brush (here) and find all other real technique brushes (here) and (here).

I hope this post was helpful! Please leave any suggestions below!

Have a great weekend guys!
