The south of France is one of the most breathtaking places that I’ve ever been to. It the epitome of glamour. We visited Cannes, Nice and Monaco and each place had a different story to tell. I preferred to eat in Nice and not only was the food cheaper it was nicer and had more a communal vibe. There were also better options for food in St Raphael, Nice. Everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help.

Monaco was definitely beyond my budget but was home to the best hazelnut ice cream that I’ve ver had. The views are unbelievable and whats even better is that everywhere is pretty much accessible via train. Don’t dare think that you’re getting a cab! It is the most expensive thing ever even when you try to source an Uber.

Wherever you stay, be sure to fly in during the day and take the regular trains or buses to your destinations. (You’ll thank me later). We had the best escargot in St Raphael on the ses front and the most fresh fish and chips are at restaurant called Gaglio near La Cathedral in Nice. It’s definitely a picture perfect destination but be mindful of your coins as you can rack up so hefty bills for food! Generally a meal without a drink can be priced up to 50 EUROS in the Monaco, Monte Carlo area.

Have you ever been to the South Of France before? Let me know what you thought of it!
