I recently announced on instagram that I was creating an ‘about me’ video answering some of the questions that you’ve always wanted to know about me. The question that was the most prominent in my mind was ‘How do you put outfits together?’. If I’m honest, I don’t think my answer (in the video) was functional at all and I don’t think it will ever be because I truly find it hard to verbalise.

The reason why I find what seems to be such a straight forward question so hard to answer is because getting dressed is not something that I interpret logically. I find that a lot of my outfits are not premeditated because my outfits are a result of a combination of my emotions.

For me, getting dressed is so fun because you can honestly be whoever the hell you want to be through clothing and you can literally create a new side of yourself everyday based on how you are feeling that day.

Personal style is a exclamation of ones personality traits and character. Personal style is a universal language spoken by everybody but understood by few and for me it’s really all about vibes and emotions. I probably mske it sound deper than it is and I’m rambling now but hopefully you can understand me a little bit even though I went off track.

This outfit was put together in 2 seconds as a result of waking up late (I hate being late!)). I literally grabbed my whole outfit off of the floor (yeah I can be quite messy bu we wont discuss that) but when I put it all together, I was quite proud of it!
