A little slice of Italy

Hi guys, I hope all is well with you! Sorry it’s been super quiet on the blog front recently but I have been curating and creating lots of content for you so look out for it the coming weeks!

Yesterday, I was invited to dine in the Pescatori restaurant on Charlotte street in London.

I brought my mum along with me so we could have a girly catch up since it was the end of the working week. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome and it was lovely to feel a gush of warm air after battling the crisp London cold! Our coats were taken immediately and we were quickly shown to our table.

The restaurant has such a warm and welcoming feel. From the pebbled walls to the natural wooden beams that decorated the ceiling, it felt like we had been whisked away to a humble little slide of Italy.

Our waiter and waitress were absolutely amazing and not only did they bring the food quickly, they also gave great conversation and were overall very friendly and approachable. They had this same demeanour with every single customer and made sure that no one was left waiting. I really appreciate the little personal touches that a waiter or waitress makes when serving and it always makes for a great experience wherever you are.

Our starters were very filling and cooked to perfection. My mum had the goats cheese, I had the crab with avocado and we both shared and Italian sausage concoction that was delicious!

Pescatori has such a lovely vibe and I would definitely recommend it for an intimate catch up after work or even a romantic dinner with a special someone purely down to the lighting and ambience alone.

After a while the restaurant does get buzzing with an influx of people which is nice too. My mum had a mixed grill for her main and I opted for the lobster pasta (predictable, aye?). My mum was really blown away by her main meal (as she told me no less than 10 times) and I thoroughly enjoyed my own dish.

I would have appreciated a little cream in my pasta dish but that’s just a personal preference and I’m sure I could have asked my waiter but it slipped past my mind as we were having such a good time.

Pescatori gets a 10/10 for customer service alone. I really appreciate amazing customer service, it goes such a long way.  The food is definitely a conversation starter as well as every dish is remarkable. The portions are extremely fair and will fill you to the brim! We decided to walk all the way to oxford circus station just to break even.

Thank you so much to Magda and Dominique for all of your help and I hope to see you again!
